“I went to Aggrey Memorial Secondary School in Cape Coast. I started in 1968. It was a good time. It was a small school so you knew almost everybody. It was a rich environment and the education was very good. You would go and study and you would also have fun. On the weekends we had entertainment…It was really a great time for us. [Aggrey Memorial] shaped my life for the better.” Sophia Kwarteng, pictured at age 18 on the campus of Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion Secondary School.
